    Caliber: .22 short, BP
    Cylinder:  7 shot fluted cylinder. Stamped X4 on barrel side of cylinder.
    Finish: Nickel
    Grips: Rosewood, bird's head design. Stamped T22 on frame under grips.
    Sights: Fixed

-Manuf. dates: 1868-1882
-Retains 90+ percent of its original nickel finish
-Small chip on the upper corner of the left grip
-Barrel rifling is very distinct w/o rust
-The seven cartridge cylinders are clean w/o defect-
-There is minimal rust present
-Gun is 100% operational including the hammer & cylinder locking as designed.

-fires without malfunction

-wear commensurate with normal use

 

-Includes the original holster in good condition and supple leather.  All stitching is intact.
    Small repair made to flap to stop the loss of material.

 

CAN BE FIRED BUT:
USE ONLY LOW VELOCITY CONICAL BALL SHORTS TO FIRE.
       High Velocity ammo has pressures too high to be safely used.
