The Zenith H500 Trans-oceanic radio receives Standard both AM and 6 shortwave bands. The 7 bands and selector switches are:
   -Standard Broadcast from 540 kc to 1600 kc (555M to 188 M)
   -Weather Band from 4 Mc to 8 Mc (75 M to 38 M)
   -Weather Band from 2 Mc to 4 Mc (150M to 75M)
   -Short Wave from 17.5 Mc to 18.1 Mc (16M)
   -Short wave from 14.9 Mc to 15.5 Mc (19M)
   -Short Wave from 11.6 Mc to 12.0 Mc (25M)
   -Short Wave from 9.4 Mc to 9.8 Mc (31M)
 
-Radio is in excellent and 100% restored condition.
-The cabinet is in nice condition with minor scuffs to the black covering (71+ years old)
-All knobs & hardware are intact; none missing.
-Headphone adapter provided to convert 1951 headphones to modern day headphones.
-Two DC battery packs are included for operating the H500 without AC power.
-Provided are a 90 Volt & 9 Volt battery boxes for use in the field.
90V battery are (10) 9 volt batteries (see photos)
9V battery are (6) AA batteries (see photos)
-The handle, face-plate, grill and trim are complete & unbroken/cracked.
-The front and rear covers both open and lock.
-Telescoping antenna opens, retracts & locks normally.
-All radio bands and features are 100% operational.
-Tuning dial is accurate and tracks smoothly.
-Radio warms up in 2 seconds.
-Volume control and switches work as designed.
-Unit measures approx. 17" wide, 11" high (closed) & 8" deep.
-Provided is the original operating manual & other documents of interest.

An additional set of 5 tubes will be provided. (Tubes: 3V4, 1U5, (2)1U4s, 1L6)
